Kellie martin is an American TV, film and stage actress. Her most well-known parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other notable roles include being the main character in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin's acting career began when she was just seven, when an aunt a former nanny who cared her children Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land important roles on the small and the large screen. Martin was also as a dancer and photographer. Martin's sister, who died from Lupus aged 19 was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
