Becki Newton

Becki lived living in Guilford, Connecticut. When she was 13, she began appearing in plays at the local theater and during summer stage productions. She spent many semesters studying European History in the University of Pennsylvania. Becki was immediately moved to NYC after graduating to pursue Broadway. She's appeared in many national commercials, guest-starring and regular roles, including Cold Case (2003) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1998), American Dreams (2002) and she was offered the role of Amanda on Ugly Betty (2007). The actress is married to the actor Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. They're pretty, but not models of the highest caliber. It's a blessing that I'm not having to think about the red carpet at work since I'm not a professional. When it comes to my looks, I'm willing to experiment with new things. The glamour can be enjoyable! The process of preparing for your day is not about being overly fussy. It's more about self-care. There's nothing wrong with having a few moments of fancies.
